What is Boiler Plus?

The new 'Boiler Plus' legislation is a part of the Government’s ‘Heat in Buildings’ programme which aims to maximise energy efficiency. The introduction of Boiler Plus is the first major piece of legislation since the UK became the first country to go “all-condensing” in 2005. From 6th April 2018, all new boiler installs must have time and temperature controls fitted and achieve a minimum ERP efficiency of 92%. Vaillant recently launched their biggest UK marketing campaign ever on December the 11th, intended to raise brand awareness and increase demand with homeowners. The campaign features a 60-second TV ad spot, aired on ITV during Coronation Street, as well as online advertisements and social media.
